  • Change to TTL value from 1 to 32 for video and audio streams
  • Corrected an issue where scaled stream (used in Multiview) would not be set if the source was not detected.

  • Support genlocked scaling to 1080p displays.
  • Support for flash LEDs command.
  • Support for factory defaults command.

Release Notes:

  • This update will automatically enable Auto-EDID which is required for Multiview
  • Added support for additional 4K60Hz input formats, output for these formats will be limited to 8-bit RGB
    • Added formats include:
    • 4K60Hz 8-bit 4:2:0
    • 4K60Hz 10-bit 4:2:0 (HDR)
    • 4K60 10-bit 4:2:2
  • Converts YUV 4:2:2 and YUV 4:2:0 source signals to RGB to make these sources available for all processing modes.

Supported platforms: All current ZyPer4K encoders and decoders. NOTE: This update is for the devices with black metal casing not white.

Release Notes: Corrects a source address issue which causes audio packets to be dropped in switches that implement a “reverse path forwarding check”. Previous issue where a large audio delay was seen on video joins has been corrected.

This firmware update requires the ZyPer Management Platform to be running Release 1.4 or greater. 

Supported platforms: All current ZyPer4K encoders and decoders

Release Notes: Both 1080i 60Hz and 50Hz resolutions are now supported in Fast-switch mode. Previous firmware versions only supported 1080i in Genlocked mode. Video wall mode still only supports progressive resolutions · Support for Pronto formatted IR codes. A Pronto formatted string may now be injected to an endpoint via the ZyPerMP, and that IR code will be transmitted out the IR port.

Installing the new firmware:

To update firmware on ZyPer4K devices:

 

1. Please contact support to obtain the latest version of the firmware.

2. Use the link provide by ZeeVee support to download the latest firmware. Make note of the location on the local computer where the firmware was downloaded.

3. Enable the Source and/or Display panel from the Panel Selection Menu.

4. Click on the device name and select Actions.

5. Drop the update *.APZ file in the outlined box under the note.

6. The *.APZ file name will appear below the words "Selected file".

7. Click the "Update Device" button.

8. A confirmation box will appear. Click "Update" to proceed and "Cancel" to abandon the update.

9. The video will drop when the device reboots at the end of the update process.
