Southeast Asia Regional Sales Manager

Job Description:
Over the past ten years, ZeeVee, a US-based manufacturer of AV distribution products, has earned a dominant position in the Broadcast and Pro AV markets and our technology delivers content to over two million screens worldwide.  We continue to build on our core competencies and have now have one of the most extensive IP based product offerings in the industry. We are looking for a seasoned Sales Manager to establish a regional sales office in Singapore to support our channel partners and grow sales throughout the region.

Your first task will be to quickly gain an understanding of the company’s technology at a deep level and identify opportunities for us to build upon and enhance our current position in the market.  Building upon the foundational products we have in place, this key member of our organization is well positioned to have a quick and impactful role in the future of our company.

Position Summary:

Maximize company revenue by selling and closing business through direct sales to Integrators, resellers, and consultants as well as distribution partners and end-users of ZeeVee’s products. Develop and implement tactics to direct the sales of ZeeVee video distribution solutions in the defined territory. Working with ZeeVee’s channel management team, maximize company mindshare and identify opportunities with distribution sales team members and managers.  Take ownership of relationships with key players at the top IT and AV integrators, consultants and end users in the IT and Pro AV Industries. Network within the various sectors to seek business and collaboration opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Achieve revenue targets as established for the defined region.

Develop, in coordination with defined internal team members, strategic plans; sales forecasts; pricing and other strategies; objectives and action assignments, to increase market share and maximize revenue.

Develop direct relationships with the top integrators, dealers, and consultants within the assigned region and prepare account plans that identify clear actions to gain business.

Develop and maintain close relationships with the top consultants in order to get “design in” for ZeeVee.

Manage relationship with distribution partner’s sales team, product specialists, and management to maximize mindshare and identify opportunities.  This should include project pipeline reviews; product training programs and setting/managing regular business reviews. Work with channel management team members to assure distributor staff members receive necessary training on ZeeVee products and promotions.

Analyze sales records, trends and market intelligence in order to provide accurate forecasts.

Travel to dealers, resellers and pro A/V integrators, consultants and end-users on an as-needed basis in order to stimulate new business.

Working directly with dealers and using our CRM software, identify, track, maintain and update a current list of accounts, contacts, opportunities and their potential value to ZeeVee.

Arrange and conduct product demonstrations by leveraging ZeeVee’s demo/evaluation program.

Develop and ensure that a strong opportunity pipeline is developed, maintained and tracked.

Recommend types of sales/marketing collateral that target the appropriate markets/integrators/consultants.

Maintain awareness/knowledge of competitive products and pricing in order to best position ZeeVee to maximize sales and profit.

Give feedback and recommendations on market requirements/trends to product engineering and management.

Experience Requirements:

15 years of sales experience with a progressive track record of success in developing and managing major accounts in IT, pro video/audio, satellite or broadcast industries.

Strong track record of over-performing to corporate goals

Intimate knowledge of and relationships within IT and Pro AV dealer networks.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience

Southeast Asia Sales & Tech Support Engineer

Background:

Over the past ten years, ZeeVee, a US-based manufacturer of AV distribution products, has earned a dominant position in the Broadcast and Pro AV markets.  Our technology delivers content to over two million screens worldwide.  We continue to build on our core competencies and have one of the most extensive IP based product offerings in the industry.  We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to provide technical pre and post sales support to our channel partners and users across the region.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with target Integrators and Distribution partners
  • Support roll out of ZeeVee Channel partner program
  • Develop and deliver a technical training program to partners and internally
  • Review of integrator design schematics
  • Advise integrators on Network design for ZyPer
  • Weekly reports/must do:
    • Feedback competitor info and market requirements to Product Management
    • Generate weekly activity/achievement summary reports
    • Update Demo kit tracker
    • Maintain technical support contacts within CRM

Education Requirements:

A degree level education is desirable, but not as important as experience and industry knowledge

Skills/Qualification Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years relevant experience in IP/AV tech support
  • Must have deep IP networking knowledge
  • Solid understanding of AV technology
  • The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, take ownership and have a proven track record in support
  • Organized, analytical and able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
  • Must be a problem solver and flexible team player willing to take ownership.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the audio-video & television installation field
  • Responsible for providing customer support to distributors, resellers, integrators and end users on a variety of issues and will be expected to identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
  • Respond to telephone calls, email, chat and personnel requests for technical support and document, track and monitor problems within ZeeVee’s technical support and or other appropriate tools (salesforce.com) to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Have, or be able to quickly learn, the basics of digital television broadcasting
  • Frequencies, differences between countries, common sorts of television user interfaces
  • How to deploy and configure ZeeVee broadcasting equipment and likely customer installation topologies
  • Quickly Learn the full customer-facing specifications for the ZeeVee equipment
  • Quickly Learn and become fluent in the user configuration interface for ZeeVee equipment.

Management Structure:
The position reports directly to the SE Asia Sales Director.
