  • Option Save/Restore configuration via Device tab in Maestro

Various bug fixes including:

  • Updates to Maestro look and feel, including column widths
  • DVB-T signal quality improvements
  • Correction to possible video issues caused when daisy changing HDb2000 units

Outstanding issues:

  • HDb2000/ZvPro Delayed Audio must be set via Maestro, front panel option does not save settings
  • EAS Relay will not work between HDB3000 and HDb2000/ZvPro

Release Notes

Various bug fixes including:

  • Update to 3d filtering on composite sources to fix known issue with color phasing on some SD content.
      • 2d setting now has improved video quality
      • 2d is new default setting, only applied with reset to defaults and new units with 2.8 as initial firmware
      • Existing configuration will not be overwritten with firmware update, but any systems set for 2d will get video improvements at update
  • Delay Audio Out not working on HDb2312
  • Maestro: Revert button remains on screen after a firmware upgrade
  • Maestro: Suppress channel errors on disabled channels
  • 2920i second IP Multicast stream did not traverse routers
  • Additional AVI register debug information

Various bug fixes including:

  • Maestro setting added for composite units which allows for 3D/2D filter change to work around issues with color phasing on some SD content
  • Inverted front display settings now “sticky” through restarts and firmware updates
  • PHP updated to revision 5.6.30

Outstanding issues:

  • Revert button appears on all tabs in Maestro immediately after CM firmware update – clear browser cache removes it
  • Delayed Audio must be set via Maestro, front panel option does not save settings
  • Numbers in Device Name field do not sort properly, they are sorted in lexicographical, not numerical order
  • EAS Relay will not work between HDB3000 and HDb2000/ZvPro
  • HDb2312 only Delayed Audio out does not work

  • This release includes a fix for a timing issue that may cause the HDb2312 to become unresponsive when resetting to factory defaults via the Maestro management platform or the front panel display.

  • VGA inputs can now be manually calibrated from the CLI
  • Corrects issue with internal routing table when changing from link-local to DHCP IP address

  • Font and background color of manual EAS messages was changed to allow for easier viewing
  • Allow lower base PID values, previous starting PID was 256, now lowest starting PID is 60

Installing the new firmware:

Updating your firmware is a three-step process:

1. Find and download the correct image file to your computer.
2. From the Maestro web interface go to the device tab and click the update button under firmware.

3. Follow prompts to browse to and select the file you just downloaded.
