OCTOBER 2020
As we enter the fourth quarter of 2020, we at ZeeVee are eager to provide you with news of enhanced support, training and new product solutions to help us all as we strive for a strong finish to 2020.

First off, we’re upgrading our SIGNAL Partner program to make it more valuable and accessible than ever before. An improved interface and registration process will help to keep you in the know with real-time notifications and communications on products, special sales programs and other news you can use. Registered partners will qualify for special incentives. In addition, our ZeeVee SIGNAL Session and Certified Solution Partner Training webinars are all archived and available on-demand via the portal. If you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to talk to your ZeeVee rep about becoming a SIGNAL Partner today or visit partners.zeevee.com.

Just in time for the fall selling season, we’re pleased to introduce ZVconnectTM, a compact, two-piece video transmitter and receiver system that enables wireless video presentations to be viewed on monitors in meeting rooms from laptops, tablets, HD video sources and smartphones that support video output. This is done automatically and securely without connecting to an office network or loading apps or drivers.

ZVconnect is an important product for us as it offers integrators not only an add-on sale opportunity, but a self-contained “door opener” for their sales team as fuller, more comprehensive AV system solutions are being discussed with their customers.

Given the tough year to date, we hope our combination of new programs, enhanced training and support and new products will help our integration and distribution partners to kick off the fall selling season in style. Now’s the time to make the case with your customers and prospects to move ahead with the AV projects that will offer superior solutions for any application they have in mind.

As always, thanks for your support and dedication,

Bob Michaels
CEO, ZeeVee

How AV is igniting live business events
August 17, 2020

“New installations of Cat-5e are a thing of the past and a minimum of 10Gb/s is becoming normal, as the need for exactness is more pressing than ever,” said Bob Michaels, CEO, ZeeVee. “Especially when VIP audiences at a football match miss a goal twice because of the latency of the supporting AV. The crowd erupts; guests finally turn away from the screens to the pitch; then turn back to the screens seconds after the ‘live’ action has been broadcast. It’s not a problem at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with ZeeVee’s SDVoE ZyPer4K encoders and decoders offering uncompressed 4k AV at less than a millisecond of latency. LINK TO ENTIRE STORY

The Employee of the Month – Charlie Sullivan
Enthusiastic and proactive are just two words commonly used to describe ZeeVee’s Head of Business Development – UK & Ireland Charlie Sullivan. In fact, he was recently recognized in InAVate’s 40 Under 40 list of young AV professionals who are shaping, leading and disrupting the AV industry (see Live Wire in this issue). During his first year at ZeeVee, Charlie took full control of moving AVoIP to the forefront in his region by significantly raising awareness of our brand, products and solutions—while also increasing ZeeVee’s UK AVoIP sales by 100%.

“ZeeVee’s biggest asset is its people,” said Charlie. “Having worked at several larger AV manufacturers, ZeeVee truly supports each employees’ ideas, development and professional growth in a way I have not experienced before. The door is always open when it comes to our management team, which enables trust and a culture of helping one another.”

Charlie loves the dynamic nature and variety of the pro AV industry, which has changed dramatically over the past decade and presents new challenges daily. When he first started at ZeeVee in 2018, AVoIP was not yet accepted as mainstream – with much of the channel being either suspicious, nervous or lacking in IP knowledge. In the face of this, Charlie helped to educate ZeeVee clients, and along the way, has helped ZeeVee expand its reach into major stadiums, entertainment venues, government institutions and medical facilities.

He successfully sold into two award-winning projects including the Samsung KX Experience Centre in London (Installation Magazine Best Retail Venue Project 2020) and the Quadram Institute’s (and the world’s first) AVoIP endoscopy suite in Norwich (InAVate Magazine’s Best Healthcare Project 2019).

“The opportunity to help educate the market in all things ZeeVee and AVoIP is something I find very rewarding. The process of taking a customer engagement from inception to fruition is what I love the most, not to mention having a front row seat to our clients’ reactions when we exceed their expectations,” said Charlie.

Charlie is equally passionate about spending time near the water, where he loves surfing, sailing, fishing and mono-waterskiing. He also loves snow skiing. He and his girlfriend, Charlotte, live in central London and can be spotted driving around the city in his 1968 MGB.
