Quality Meetings and AVoIP Product Availability Win the Day at InfoComm 2021!
As we expected, the InfoComm Show last month was a different animal from what we’re used to. Less people meant we spent more quality time with the folks that came by and it was gratifying to see some of our partners, customers and colleagues in person for the first time in a long while.
Availability of products was a major concern expressed in just about every conversation and it was satisfying to be able to confirm, with confidence, that we have sufficient stock of AV over IP products ready for delivery in days, not months (or worse!). The credit here goes to our production planners and logistics folks for their efforts in making certain that we were properly positioned to quickly respond to the pent up demand created over the course of the pandemic. This was a great relief to those looking to service a wide range of applications for end of year projects.
In addition to the many face to face meetings, we earned a Best of Infocomm 2021 Award from AVTechnology for our new ZyPer4K-XS small footprint SDVoE encoders and decoders. This cost effective, feature rich latest addition to our 4K uncompressed signal distribution family is ideal for space-constrained or noise-sensitive environments. And worthy to mention again, ready for almost immediate shipment!

European marketplace feedback: During the review of a recent ZyPer AVoIP project with a new integration partner, we were told that it took just 30 minutes to set up and configure the AV system’s 40 endpoints. ZeeVee Readies New SDVoE AVoIP Solution for Debut

ZeeVee’s ZyPer4K-XS small footprint SDVoE and AVoIP encoders and decoders, ideal for space-constrained and noise-sensitive environments, make their North American debut at ZeeVee booth (#1401) at InfoComm 2021. The ZyPer4K-XS is ideal for higher education, performing arts, yacht and government applications. They allow for the distribution and switching of uncompressed 720p, 1080p HD, Ultra HD and 4K resolution content, audio and control via off-the-shelf 10Gb Ethernet switches. Keri Wyman
Keri feels most accomplished when she successfully leverages newly adopted technology, such as Salesforce and Impartner that improve the ZeeVee sales process. Hardworking, meticulous and dedicated are just three of the many qualities that can describe Keri Wyman, ZeeVee’s data entry administrator. Since her start with the company two years ago, Keri has been working behind the scenes inputting daily sales orders, creating training certificates, updating price book content and overall making ZeeVee’s sales systems more efficient.
“I love the variety of tasks that I’m able to perform. It makes every day interesting and unique,” said Keri. “I’ve also enjoyed working with the people at ZeeVee. It’s like a tight knit community where everyone is treated like family.” For example, she works with various software programs to validate contact data, which the sales team uses to convert leads into contracts more easily.
The pro AV industry was no exception to the impact COVID-19 had on its workers. Similar to those working in other industries, integrators, distributors, manufacturers and salespersons who often relied on in-person interactions with customers had to switch to a virtual work setting. Keri has admired how the industry has adapted to the obstacles brought on by the pandemic and looks forward to seeing how AV technology will be used to help those still being affected.
“ZeeVee really cares for its clients and customers. I've seen it through the quick contact they make to resolve issues and the accommodations they make for customers. From ensuring product is stocked to diligently handling warranties, the ZeeVee team always puts its customers first,” said Keri.
Keri lives in Twin Cities, Minn., with her spouse of nine years and three young boys (ages four, three and one). She homeschools her kids (pre-school level) and has enjoyed watching them learn. In her free time, Keri loves cooking and experimenting with new recipes – even if they don’t turn out as expected – as well as hiking, dirt biking and being outdoors.
