| The ZvReceiver is compatible with industry standard Human Input Device (HID) protocols, which means that your computer does not need any additional software to allow the ZvRemote to control the computer. This also means that any application that is designed to be compatible with these standards will "just work". Just plug the ZvReceiver into a spare USB port on your computer. The computer will then automatically configure the device for use. |
| ZvRemotes are "paired" with ZvReceivers through a simple process. Simply push the Connect button on the ZvReceiver, and then press and hold both the Back and Info buttons on the ZvRemote for five seconds. Both devices will blink their lights when they are paired. From that point forward, that ZvRemote will only send commands through that ZvReceiver. Any older parings are forgotten. Each ZvReceiver can be paired with up to eight different ZvRemotes or ZvKeyboards simultaneously for operation from multiple rooms. |
