Just to make sure I understand the issue, you have ZvBox, did an update via Zv manager (sys tray icon) and now Zviewer is giving you trouble?
Is it just hulu?
Flash 10 was recently released. Could you check if both browsers are using the same version of flash? Just right click on the video while it is playing and the last item flash context menu should be 'About Adobe Flash Player '
You could also check the settings to see if HW acceleration is enabled and if enabling/disabling it makes any difference.
I updated via the ZV icon in the task bar. The stuttering isn't limited to just hulu, it seems to be any flash in mozilla. It's not clear to me how to check on the HW acceleration, is that a flash setting? (assume i right click on a flash video while it's playing in mozilla?)
HW acceleration is actually part of the display properties you set through windows. In XP:
Right mouse click on desktop, go to properties
On the settings tab click the Advanced button
Go to troubleshoot tab, there is a slide that allows you to adjust the HW acceleration. You kind of have to play with it to see how it will affect not only Zviewer but other apps as well.
Yes. There's two places to look. As Melanie pointed out, you can adjust the adapter's settings, plus you can enable/disable HW acceleration in flash itself. Right click on the flash window and select settings. You should get a mini-dialog with several tabs. The first tab should have a check box for enabling HW acceleration.
The issue is resolved. I uninstalled Flash and all the ZeeVee software completely from the system. Reinstalled everything and video in all the Zv Presents sites is smooth.
Although I cannot pinpoint the problem I am happy to be watching video again.

Yes. I'll look at the flash version later.
