Vic Odryna

Co-founder and CEO

Vic Odryna

As CEO, Vic Odryna is responsible for corporate strategy and successful execution of all business operations. Vic has 27 years of corporate and engineering leadership experience, most recently as Executive Director of strategic planning for Idearc Media (a Verizon spinoff). Vic came to Verizon through the acquisition of Inceptor, a search marketing technology company where he was brought in as a turnaround CEO. Previously, Vic was a senior vice president of global marketing for Avocent, the world leader in datacenter management products. He was founder and CEO of PixelVision in 1991, a pioneer in flat-panel monitor technology whose products still populate the NYSE trading floor. PixelVision was acquired by Avocent in 1999. Prior to PixelVision, Vic served in senior engineering leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, Apollo Computer, and DEC. Vic earned bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer science as well as a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Connecticut.


Jeremy Greene

Co-founder, Vice President, Software and Quality

Jeremy GreeneJeremy is responsible for leading ZeeVee’s software development and quality assurance. He has 23 years of high-tech engineering experience, most recently as co-founder and vice president of engineering at Tatara Systems, an Acton, Massachusetts maker of cellular phone/WiFi convergence technologies. Greene built a 30-person engineering team there and spearheaded a $5 million international deal with Vodafone. From 1996 to 2000, he was CTO and vice president of engineering at Xedia, an Internet access router maker, through and beyond its 1999 acquisition by Lucent. He built a 50-member engineering team there with a 98 percent retention rate over four years, and directed a two-year co-development initiative with UUNet for its site-to-site VPN service. He has also held contracting and consulting positions at Sonus Networks, Proteon Networks and Chipcom as well as management positions at Coral Networks and InterLAN. Jeremy earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts.


Stephen Metzger

Co-founder, Vice President of Hardware Development and Operations

Stephen MetzgerSteve is responsible for hardware design and development as well as volume manufacturing of ZeeVee products. With 22 years of industry experience, Steve has co-founded a number of successful New England companies and played key roles at several technology giants. Prior to co-founding ZeeVee in 2007, he was director of engineering at Sun Microsystems, responsible for the design and development of a wide range of computing platforms from high-end blade servers down to NEBS-qualified embedded systems. He arrived at Sun Microsystems through the acquisition of his prior startup, Nauticus Networks, a developer of sophisticated load-balancing, cryptographic switches and accelerators that he co-founded in 2000. Before Nauticus, Steve was director of engineering at Lucent Technologies, where he was responsible for the highly successful Cajun line of switching systems, acquired by Lucent when the company purchased Prominet Corp., a company Steve co-founded in 1996. Steve earlier was a key engineer at Chipcom Corp., a co-founder of ANT, and spent seven years at Digital Equipment Corp. He was an active participant in the development of the IEEE standards for 100Mbit and Gigabit Ethernet and holds several patents. Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Norwich University, the Military College of Vermont.


Dave Malin

Vice President, Sales

Dave MalinDave leads channel sales relationships and is responsible for all activities related to the reselling of ZeeVee products in the marketplace. He has spent the past 28 years merchandising, marketing and selling consumer products, working closely with the sales and marketing staffs of specialty vendors. Prior to joining ZeeVee in 2007, Dave was vice president and general merchandise manager for Tweeter Home Entertainment, a nationally recognized specialty retailer of consumer electronics. During his 23-year tenure there, Dave helped grow the $20 million New England company to a multiregional retailer with more than $800 million in revenue. Other experience includes sales and marketing management positions at Boston Acoustics, RCA Records and IRS Records. Dave attended The University of Michigan, majoring in communications, and has served as chairman of the Audio Buying Group for the Progressive Retailer Organization. He has participated in several CEA panel discussions at CES.
